SAFETY RECALL
HIGH LEAD CONTENT
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announces the following recall in voluntary cooperation with Provo Craft and Novelty, Inc. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.

Product	rob and bob studio™ snapease™ jewels and clipease™
Hazard	The Clip-ease and Snap-ease products were found to contain elevated levels of lead, which can pose a serious health risk to children if they are chewed on or swallowed. Consumers should discontinue use immediately and ensure that the Clip-ease and Snap-ease are not accessible by children.
Description	The snap-ease jewels are small round fasteners in assorted colors labeled “snap-ease” within the “rob and bob studio™” line of products. The clip-ease products are painted metal clips (small and large) and two dispensers. The clip-ease were sold in plastic packages labeled “clip-ease” within the “rob and bob studio™” line of products. Packaging for the snap-ease jewels and the clip-ease products are marked with the importer’s “PC” logo and “rob and bob studio™”. The snap-ease and the clip-ease were originally sold as embellishments for craft projects such as scrapbooks and greeting cards.
Action	Consumers should immediately discontinue use of these products and ensure that they are not accessible to children. Do NOT return Rob and Bob Studio Clip-ease and Snap-ease to the location where you bought them. Return them directly to Provo Craft for a full refund. Returns	Do NOT return Rob and Bob Studio Clip-ease and Snap-ease to the location where you bought them. Return them to Provo Craft for a full refund. Incidents	We are not aware of any adverse incidents having been reported as a result of the products’ use to date, but are voluntarily recalling them in order to ensure the safety of our customers and the public.
Items Sold	Only products marketed by Provo Craft and Novelty, Inc. between August 2005 and June 2006 under the rob and bob studio™ snap-ease jewels and clip-ease brand names are being recalled. The snap-ease jewels were sold as 18 jeweled fasteners on paper sheets. The clip-ease dual dispenser set was sold as 9 small and 7 large painted metal clips and 2 clip dispensers labeled “rob and bob studio™” in clear plastic packaging. The clip-ease small refills were sold as 100 small painted metal clips in clear plastic packaging. The clip-ease large refills were sold as 50 large painted metal clips in clear plastic packaging. All packaging was marked with the company’s “PC” logo and “rob and bob studio™”. For a complete list and images of the recall products, see recalled items below. Refund	The only way to qualify for a refund is to make a claim and return your Rob and Bob Studio Clip-ease and/or Snap-ease to Provo Craft. Consumers must complete the recall form, or contact the Provo Craft Claims department at 1.800.955.9490 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. mountain time. Upon receipt and verification of your claim, Provo Craft will process your refund check including the cost of shipping. All returns to Provo Craft must be sent by first class mail. Allow six to eight weeks for processing from the time your claim is received and verified by Provo Craft.
